McLEAN, Va., – Hilton (NYSE:HLT) announced the appointment of Anne-Marie D’Angelo as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, effective September 15, 2023. She most recently served as Director of Legal and Government Affairs at Molson Coors Beverage Company and has held general counsel and leadership positions at various public companies, including NiSource and Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc. D’Angelo reports to Christopher J. Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton, and serves as a member of the Executive Committee.

«As I got to know Anne-Marie, I quickly appreciated her business acumen and her shared belief in the power of hospitality as a force for good in the world. In today’s increasingly complex world, global companies need a solid legal foundation and legal leaders who provide teams with exceptional support and guidance. Anne-Marie is a recognized and respected leader with a proven track record spanning industries and complex matters, and I know she will provide excellent strategic guidance and lead our legal function – and Hilton – with the highest level of integrity,» said Nassetta.

«It is an honor for me to join Hilton, a company that I have long respected for its history, innovation, and award-winning workplace culture,» said D’Angelo. «Hilton’s global presence and powerful franchise model have a positive impact on businesses and travelers worldwide, and I look forward to helping strengthen Hilton’s already strong reputation.»

In addition to her leadership roles at Molson Coors, NiSource, and Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc., D’Angelo spent over a decade as a leader on McDonald’s legal team and brings significant experience serving global organizations with a franchise model. She is an active member of her community, serving on the Advisory Board of PODER25 and being a member of the Chicago Economic Club and the Hispanic National Bar Association. Anne-Marie has also received significant recognition for her contributions to the legal profession, including from Corporate Counsel Women, Crain’s Chicago Magazine, and Hispanic Executive Magazine.

D’Angelo succeeds General Counsel Kristin Campbell, who, as previously announced, is retiring this month after a distinguished 12-year career at Hilton and over 35 years as a respected leader in the corporate legal community.
