El Ayuntamiento de Madrid ha concedido el Premio Lope de Vega 2022 a Gonzalo Yut, nombre artístico de Jesús Gonzalo Fernández, por su obra No mires como gallina mojada. El jurado, compuesto por los periodistas culturales Liz Perales (El Cultural), Raúl Losánez (La Razón) y Raquel Vidales (El País), y por el director adjunto del Teatro Español, Luis Luque Cabrera, ha decidido otorgar por mayoría este galardón a la obra de Gonzalo Yut tanto por la originalidad del texto como por sus posibilidades escénicas.
El Premio Lope de Vega de Teatro, creado en 1932, es el decano de los premios teatrales españoles y debe su longeva y prestigiosa trayectoria al impulso del Ayuntamiento de Madrid para incentivar la creación escénica y dramática. En esta edición está dotado con 12.000 euros.
Gonzalo Yut (Puertollano, 1961) es funcionario, químico de formación, y dramaturgo vocacional. Su obra no se ciñe al teatro, ya que es autor de varias novelas, y ha trabajado también como guionista en televisión. Su segunda obra de teatro, La Manchada (1981) obtuvo los premios al mejor montaje y a la mejor actriz en el certamen Salas Alternativas.
No mires como gallina mojada narra la historia de tres personajes, un padre, su hijo y una cuidadora boliviana, que aprovechan el aniversario de un hecho luctuoso ocurrido hace 50 años para dejarse arrastrar con un manual o guion que ellos mismos perfeccionan cada año. Después de tanto tiempo, hay pocas cosas que dejar al azar, pero el azar no está sujeto a normas.
A lo largo de su dilatada historia, el Premio Lope de Vega ha recaído en autores tan reconocidos como Alejandro Casona, en 1933, por La sirena varada; Antonio Buero Vallejo, en 1948, por Historia de una escalera; Fernando Fernán Gómez, en 1977, por Las bicicletas son para el verano, o, en el año 2000, en Narciso Ibáñez Serrador por El águila y la niebla. /
