The traffic department expects a total of 18.2 million trips to occur from the 21st December to the 6th January.
The Department has increased the number of officers on duty in anticipation of the high number of trips. Officers will be deployed on both main roads and on internal routes in order to ensure that all vehicles comply with the national regulations and to protect road users.
