Esta mañana, el concejal de Carabanchel, Álvaro González, ha asistido a las actividades deportivas organizadas por la junta del distrito en el Centro Deportivo Municipal Francisco Fernández Ochoa. Bajo el lema ‘Diviértete en Familia’, hijos, nietos, padres, madres y abuelos se han sumado a una mañana en la que, de 11:00 a 14:00 h, la diversión estaba asegurada con castillos hinchables, futbolines humanos y pistas de escalextric. Por la tarde continuará la animación de 17:00 a 20:00 h.
El programa de ‘Navidad Mágica’ en Carabanchel incluye también belenes vivientes, mercadillos y pista de patinaje y pone el acento en el deporte. Desde el 21 y hasta este viernes, 23 de diciembre, el distrito acoge el tercer torneo navideño Carlos Jiménez 3×3 en los polideportivos Blanca Fernández Ochoa y Francisco Fernández Ochoa. /
The southern Madrid district of Carabanchel is hosting ‘Families Have Fun’ this Friday, a day of sporting and recreational activities for all.
The day’s festivities will take place in the Antonio Dominguez Piñero sports centre, beginning at 1pm. There will be a variety of activities for practitioners of all ages and levels, so everyone is welcome to take part in the day’s events.
Organizers plan on having a variety of academy teams, paving the way for a fun and sporty afternoon, including basketball, soccer, archery, tennis and badminton, as well as activities like wall climbing, mini golf and trampolining. Boxing, Judo, yoga and other martial arts will also be available.
‘Families Have Fun’ at the Antonio Dominguez Piñero Sports Centre will be a relaxed, family orientated event, created with the intention that everyone can come together and enjoy a day of sport and leisure. The event is free and all those interested can just turn up and participate.

2pm: Lecture about physical activity.
3pm: Explanation of the proposed activities
4pm: Workshops of sports activities
5pm: Physical and Psychological Wellbeing
6pm: Final talk about physical activity
7pm: Closing
