Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry of Digital Transformation through the State Secretariat for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, has officially released the list of the 45 national technological SMEs that will be part of the Spanish Pavilion at the next MWC Barcelona 2024, which will take place between February 26 and 29 at Fira Gran Vía Barcelona.

Red.es is organizing for the eleventh year the Spanish Pavilion of MWC Barcelona, as a demonstration of institutional commitment to supporting Spanish technological SMEs, so that they can participate and have visibility at the largest and most influential event dedicated to the digital sector and connectivity in the world.

The 45 selected leading companies will be a showcase of the potential of our country in the technological field. During the celebration of the MWC, they will have their own space in the Spanish Pavilion, with the advantages of being able to attend to their customers and potential collaborators in a private space to showcase their products, services, or business models. Additionally, they will be able to use the rest of the common areas of this institutional space of almost 900 m2.

Additionally, they will enjoy services such as the promotion of their presence at the Congress, participation in the presentation panel of the Pavilion, or participation in the different activities that arise during the Congress, such as networking activities or institutional visits. Everything is specially designed to increase their visibility and increase their business opportunities. In addition, they will have tickets to the event, internet connection, catering service, and other «turnkey» services to simplify the management involved in their participation in the congress.

The number of exhibiting companies has increased by more than 18% in this edition compared to the 2023 data when 38 companies participated, receiving more than 7,000 in-person visitors and the same number virtually. It featured more than 50 hours of top-level content that could be attended in person or via streaming.

The MWC Barcelona, promoted by GSMA (Global Systems for Mobile Association), has established itself as a reference meeting point where the main digital-based companies showcase the latest innovations related to mobile telephony and wireless communications, as well as innovative sectors such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, robotics, and all kinds of software and hardware.

The Spanish Pavilion at this new MWC Barcelona event will be made up of the following SMEs:
