The non-profit organisation Sanz y Aniorte has recently participated in a special event, in which volunteers delivered much-needed toys and aid to the young children of the centre ‘Las Caracolas’ in the province of Toledo, Spain.
Thanks to the immense effort and determination of the volunteers, dozens of bundles of toys and aid were provided to the young children in the centre. The families of these children were especially thankful for these donations; their gratitude was not hidden but clearly expressed by the smiles which the kids wore.
The selection of the items offered to the centre was carefully chosen, according to the current needs of the centre. These items ranged from toys, ranging from stuffed animals, to books and kitchen utensils, along with other necessary goods such as blankets and clothes.
The initiative was fully supported by various sponsors and collaborators, who also had a huge hand in the overall success of the event. These sponsors, who include local business owners, have expressed that their hands, hearts and minds are open to assist in any way necessary for the progress of those in need.
The beneficiaries of the event, the children and the centre, were especially delighted with the smiles, love and support shown by the volunteers towards them. Similarly, Antón Sanz, the president of the Centre and the organisation itself, have expressed their appreciation of this collaborated effort and the sense of community it has generated.
Both Sanz y Aniort and Las Caracolas are certain that this day of volunteering and collaboration will leave a lasting impression in the lives of the children. Furthermore, it is hoped that similar initiatives will be carried out in the future and that this experience will be the precursor of more innovative and successful events of this nature.
