The CD Tenerife Football Club has taken a major step towards promoting animal adoption. Working with the ‘Las Cinco Cabezas’ animal protection association, the club has joined a responsible animal adoption campaign, showing their commitment to providing a better lifestyle for all animals.
The aim of this campaign is to encourage people to adopt from animal protection associations rather than buy from pet shops or puppy farms. The association helps manage animal shelters and rescue programs in the Tenerife area and specializes in both the care and adoption of animals.
The club is providing various initiatives to support this campaign and facilitate animal adoption. Match-day ticket buyers will have the opportunity to receive free pieces of paraphernalia that highlights the importance of responsible animal adoption plus they will be offering discounts to new animal adopters.
In addition to this, the CD Tenerife is working to raise awareness of this issue by publishing articles in the club´s publications and featuring members of ‘Las Cinco Cabezas” as part of their social media campaign.
The CD Tenerife has joined forces with ‘Las Cinco Cabezas’ to create a greater visibility of this worthy cause in an effort to encourage the people of Tenerife to adopt an animal from animal protection associations or shelters.
The football club hopes to be a major part of this project, promoting responsible adoption and a better quality of life for all animals.
