La Real Federación Española de Fútbol comunicó los emparejamientos de la primera eliminatoria de la Copa del Rey Juvenil, en la que participan 32 equipos. La UD Las Palmas, al obtener el mejor coeficiente tras la finalización de la primera vuelta, disputará esta primera ronda como local recibiendo al CD Orientación Marítima en el Anexo, a partido único, el primer fin de semana de enero de 2023 (fecha y hora por confirmar).
La RFEF ha utilizado como criterio para la primera ronda de la competición la proximidad geográfica, siendo el CD Orientación Marítima nuestro primer rival, segundo clasificado de la competición al término de la primera vuelta. Durante los últimos años, diferentes jugadores de la cantera del club de Lanzarote, como Coco, Clau y Saliou, han llegado a la UD Las Palmas.
Los vencedores de esta primera eliminatoria se clasificarán para la ronda de octavos de final, que se celebrará a finales de enero.
This Saturday, October 12th, the División de Honor Juvenil will come face-to-face with CD Orientación Marítima in the first qualifying round of the Copa del Rey held in the Mestalla stadium.
