La Fundación UD Las Palmas, en colaboración con el Departamento de Formación y Captación UD Las Palmas, organizan el I Torneo de Navidad Las Palmas D.
La cita tendrá lugar en el Anexo al Estadio de Gran Canaria y contará con la participación de la anfitriona, la Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, la UD Villa Santa Brígida y la UD Las Huesas.
Ambos clubes convenidos, cuentan en su estructura con un equipo compuesto por jugadores que se encuentran dentro del programa de integración social con el proyecto UP2U, en colaboración con el Gobierno de Canarias.
Los horarios del torneo serán los siguientes:
17:00 – 17:45 | UD Las Palmas – UD Las Huesas
18:00 – 18:45 | UD Las Huesas – UD Villa Santa Brígida
19:00 – 19:45 | UD Las Palmas – UD Villa Santa Brígida
Las Palmas D has recently created a festive event to celebrate the season: the I Torneo de Navidad. This tourney will be a friendly competition populated with teams from all over the island.
The tournament will involve indoor football and be open to all genders and ages to participate. It will cater to teams of five participants with substitution of players allowed. Additionally, there will a junior tournament for those aged 13 to 17 years old and a senior tournament for those aged 18 and above. The date of the event is scheduled for the first week of January and the matches will take place in the Las Palmas D indoor football field located in its facilities at Plaza de las Vírgenes.
The I Torneo de Navidad will have three rounds with the final stage determining the winner. Each round will see teams with the highest score progressing to the following round. At the end of the tournament, each player on the winning team will receive a trophy as well as exclusive Las Palmas D merchandise. Furthermore, they will also be given free entry to the next tournament.
So far, the tournament has seen an immense response from the public with teams signing up from all over the island.
