El Infantil Fundación CDT A debutará este martes en la XXVI Edición de LaLiga Promises Santander ante el Borussia Dortmund (11:30 horas), dentro del grupo C de esta competición internacional, que se disputará hasta este miércoles 29 de diciembre en la Ciudad Deportiva de Maspalomas (Gran Canaria).
El conjunto blanquiazul llegará este lunes a la isla vecina con una expedición de 12 jugadores que representarán a todo el equipo, que compite cada fin de semana en la categoría de Preferente, dirigidos por el entrenador Juan Miguel Mesa.
Los blanquiazules se encuentran encuadrados en el grupo C del Torneo, junto al Borussia Dortmund y el Real Madrid CF, equipo con el que también jugarán este martes, ya en horario de tarde (19:00 horas). Dos canteras de élite que analiza el entrenador.
«Cualquier grupo que nos tocara, sabíamos que iba a ser complicado con equipos de primer nivel. Al final buscaremos hacer nuestro juego y competir al máximo», explicó Juan Miguel, quien aseguró que el grupo viaja con muchísima ilusión y ganas de vivir la experiencia, aprender y disfrutar representando a los colores blanquiazules.
Para el capitán del Infantil Fundación CDT, Nico Sandrín, se trata de un sueño: «Jugar LaLiga Promises es un sueño para mí. De verlo en la tele a poder yo estar compitiendo allí. Además poder ser capitán lo hace más especial aún».
En este sentido remarca que intentarán darlo todo dando una buena imagen para así hacer sentir orgullosos a los compañeros que no viajarán y a sus familias. Con todo, el Infantil Fundación CDT Masculino vivirá una jornada intensa con doble partido de la Fase de Grupos de LaLiga Promises.
En función de los resultados sabrá si está clasificado para los cruces de cuartos de final del miércoles o, si por el contrario, disputará los compromisos de consolación (terceros o cuartos de cada grupo).

On Monday 13th April, El Infantil Fundación made their debut at LaLiga Promises, the world-famous international youth football tournament organised by LaLiga and the Fundación Real Madrid. Playing against German team Borussia Dortmund, the Spanish team did their country proud by playing an exciting, competitive game that ended in a narrow 3-2 defeat.
The first half of the match ended 1-1, with El Infantil Fundación doing everything they could to take control of the game. Borussia Dortmund, however, had other plans in mind, and their aggressive style of play gave the Spanish team a tough match. A goal in the second half of the game gave El Infantil Fundación the advantage, but the Germans responded quickly. A further two goals then helped Borussia Dortmund edge ahead, ultimately resulting in the 3-2 victory for the Germans.
Despite their defeat, El Infantil Fundación were applauded for their bravery and enthusiasm throughout the game. The passionate supporters from both sides created a great atmosphere, and both teams were commended for displaying such mature behaviour. El Infantil Fundación’s players worked hard to take home a positive result, and it was clear that their performance had improved drastically compared to their previous matches.
All in all, it was a great first outing for El Infantil Fundación at LaLiga Promises. The Spanish team gave it their all, and their future looks bright. It was a great experience for all involved, and El Infantil Fundación can take great pride in having taken part in an major international tournament.
